The term “credit institutions” refers to legal entities that carry out banking operations as their usual occupation. That is, receiving funds from the public, managing credit operations as well as making available and managing the means of payment.
Primary Dealers are banks and brokerage firms approved as privileged partners
(but non-exclusive) of one or more National Treasuries of WAEMU member States.
Brokerage firms are public limited companies whose primary activity is the trading activities of securities on the stock exchange.
